On Friday 17th June 2016, HILA signed its second deed of purchase and acquired Casa Santa Monica in Qormi.
Only days away from the end of works at Casa Apap Bologna in Mosta, HILA is geared up to start giving its contribution to this important sector of society. Casa Apap Bologna will be operating as a respite home, offering short stays on occasional or regular basis. Its state-of-the art design makes it the very first of its kind in Malta.
The plan for Casa Santa Monica is for it to be converted into an Independent Supported Living Home, where a small number of persons can live independently, but with the appropriate support to help them integrate and live in a community with choices equal to others, through inclusion and participation. Our aim is to empower them through the ability to make a life for themselves.
Works on Casa Santa Monica are due to commence later on this year.
